Meet the experts behind LA Compte

Our team is committed towards Free and Open Source Software (FOSS Software) and is fully in line with the commitments towards an open access internet as well as community based public monitoring framework for software development where “customer right to repair” is a priority. La Compte does not agree with “Software as a Service”, “Application as a Service”, or “Games as a Service” frameworks and condemns “Rentier Solutions Based Economic Models”.

Dr. Fauzia Moghees

Dr. Fauzia Moghees committed herself towards the long term on
the registered firm. With 20 years of government service and 25 years of commitment towards community empowerment as executive director of Network for Human and Social Development as well as Kaus-e-Kazah Welfare Organization, her commitment towards ensuring that youth and
women continue to have an opportunity to grow and have sustainable livelihood. Her leadership and commitment to ensuring the long term feasibility of the firm has been a major pivot that has resulted in the first batch of 20 apprentices from socioeconomically deprived locations being given an opportunity to have freelancing opportunities, whilst also guiding 60 students towards a path of innovation and development.

Shehroze Ameen

With a Masters in Public Health from HAW Hamburg, Shehroze Ameen
originally did envision that he would be invested in the cause. However, he committed towards ensuring that La Compte rose and became focused on the cause of Free and Open Source Software. He holds an ISO45001 in Occupational Health and Safety and from his near ten years of experience in the development sector (Project Coordinator Pakistan Biological Safety Association 2018-2022; Project Officer Network for Human and Social Development 2012-2022, Director Administration Network for Human and Social development 2023-2025; Director Knowledge Management Network for Human and Social Development 2025-date), his expertise in terms of system administration, data recovery, database management, as well as strategic documentation and business management. His endeavors have secured 5TB of NHSD data (Spanning 20 years) on both cloud solutions and offline backup frameworks. He has been committed towards utilization of Linux as a functional alternative to Microsoft ecosystems and has been integrating Linux frameworks in La Compte computers since 2024. All documentation pertaining to La Compte and Network for Human and Social Development is processed, stored, and digitally accessed through his endeavors. Outside of his La Compte commitments, he is developing data recovery solutions as well as working on the Open Source Urdu Language Office Suite (نومضم (Mazmoon.
